Thermal Mass Flowmeters are designed to precisely measure mass flow rate of clean gases. They are electronic flowmeters whose primary advantage is insensitivity to changes in fluid pressure and temperature for big sized run pipes.The calibration is based on a heat transfer of the fluid being measured, therefore changes in the gas or concentration will affect the flowmeters calibration.
